About P-urpose

P-urpose is a yoga class planning and sequencing tool for yoga teachers. Teachers choose a class purpose, style, duration and level, get a structured, well-timed sequence, edit it, save it, teach from it in Teacher Mode and export it as a PDF.

Who it’s for

Yoga teachers — especially newer teachers and anyone planning several classes a week. It is not a practice app for students.

How classes are built — no generative AI

P-urpose does not use generative AI. A rule-based sequencing engine builds each class from a curated library of 126 poses: warm up before effort, equal time on left and right, intensity building towards the middle, counterposes after strong backbends, a calm ending with final rest. Each build varies the poses within those rules; the rules themselves are tested automatically across every combination of purpose, style, duration and level. Headstand, handstand, shoulderstand, full lotus and splits are deliberately left out.

What P-urpose is not

• not a studio management, booking or payments system
• not a video or audio class app
• not a medical or therapy tool — teachers adapt every class to the people in the room

How our guides are written

The guides are written by P-urpose Editorial, the team at Ichii GmbH. We don’t invent authors, experts or credentials.

• Sources: official and primary sources first (government statistics, laws, published fee schedules), then real job postings and published prices. Every source is listed with its date under “Sources”.
• Labels: official data, job-post examples, our own calculations and illustrations based on stated assumptions are always marked as such.
• Markets kept apart: pay, tax and legal facts are specific to one country (currently the US and Germany) and never mixed on one page. German guides are written from German sources, not translated.
• Teaching numbers (timings, poses per class) come from P-urpose’s own timing model and sequence library.
• Comparisons: when we compare planning apps, we make one of them — the article says so. Facts about other apps are checked on their own pages and dated.
• Nothing paid: no sponsored articles, no affiliate links, no invented reviews or testimonials.
• Updates: legal and tax values are re-checked every January; the “updated” date changes only for meaningful edits.
• Corrections: email info@ichii.de. We fix errors promptly and update the date.
